Out Of The Deep… Into The Light

Concert performed in Spring 2019

“Out of the Deep …Into the Light” is a concert of sharp contrasts. The concert will begin with Donald McCullough’s Holocaust Cantata—Songs from the Camps. McCullough brilliantly weaves together poignant readings and music from one of the darkest periods in human history. Moving next to John Rutter’s Requiem is like emerging into the full light of day—with renewed hope and promise. We will end with the infectious and spirited All of Us from “Considering Matthew Shepard” by Craig Hella Johnson.
